Beelink EQR5 AMD Ryzen™ 5 5500U

Not every desk needs a powerhouse. The Beelink EQR5 with AMD Ryzen™ 5 5500U is built for the millions of everyday computing tasks that don’t need a flagship CPU — browsing, office documents, video calls, streaming, light study and home admin — delivered in a mini PC that costs a fraction of an equivalent laptop or tower and takes up almost no desk space.

Key Features

• AMD Ryzen™ 5 5500U Processor — 6 cores / 12 threads on TSMC’s efficient 7nm process, boosting up to 4.0GHz with 8MB of L3 cache. Reliable, well-proven silicon that handles day-to-day multitasking without breaking a sweat.
• AMD Radeon™ Graphics (7 CUs @ 1800MHz) — Integrated graphics capable of smooth 4K @ 60Hz video playback across dual displays, casual gaming, and general desktop use.
• Expandable DDR4 Memory — Dual SO-DIMM slots support up to 64GB of DDR4 total, well beyond what ships as standard, so this machine can grow with you rather than being a dead end after a year.
• Dual M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 Storage — Two NVMe slots supporting up to 8TB combined storage, giving you room to add a second drive for backups, media libraries or a secondary OS without needing an external enclosure.
• Dual Gigabit LAN — Two 1000Mbps Ethernet ports provide physical network separation — handy for a simple home network split, a guest network, or basic router/firewall duties — alongside Wi-Fi 6 (Intel AX200) and Bluetooth 5.2 for everything else.
• Near-Silent MSC 2.0 Cooling — Heat pipes, dissipation fins, a silent fan and an SSD heatsink keep operating noise down to around 32dB, so it disappears into a home office or living room setup rather than becoming background noise.
• Integrated 85W Power Supply — No bulky external power brick cluttering your desk or floor — just one cable in.

Why Choose the EQR5

The honest pitch for the EQR5 is value. Not everyone needs the latest Ryzen H-series chip or a discrete GPU to get their work done — most home and small-office computing is spreadsheets, browser tabs, video calls, streaming services and light document editing, and the Ryzen 5 5500U handles every one of those tasks without hesitation. Where the EQR5 earns its keep is in what you’re not paying for: no discrete graphics card driving up the price, no oversized chassis eating desk space, no separate power brick.

It’s a genuinely good fit as a family PC, a study or homework machine, a lightweight home theatre PC for streaming and media, or a low-cost second workstation for a small office where every seat doesn’t need top-tier horsepower. The dual Gigabit LAN ports also make it a sensible pick if you want a compact machine doing double duty as a basic network appliance or a Pi-hole/DNS box alongside normal desktop use.

And because Beelink didn’t cut corners on the parts that matter for longevity — DDR4 expandable to 64GB, dual NVMe slots for up to 8TB, Wi-Fi 6, and a proper cooling system rather than a single loud fan — the EQR5 isn’t a machine you’ll outgrow the moment your needs shift slightly. It’s a budget-friendly mini PC that still leaves room to upgrade RAM and storage down the line, rather than locking you into whatever configuration you buy on day one.
