FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions we get most. For full legal terms, see our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Terms & Conditions — this page is the quick version.
Ordering & payment
- What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay and direct bank transfer. Card and wallet payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details. Bank-transfer orders are dispatched once the payment clears; our account details are shown on the order confirmation page and emailed to you. - Are prices in USD?
Yes, all prices on the site are in US dollars and shown exclusive of any import duty or local tax due on arrival — see Customs, duties and import taxes in our Shipping Policy. - I made a mistake on my order — can I fix it?
Email support@computahardware.shop immediately. We can change or cancel an order before it dispatches, but not after it has left us.
Shipping & delivery
- How much does shipping cost?
Flat rates by destination: UK $9.95, Europe $19.95, US & Canada $24.95, rest of world $49.95 — free automatically once your order passes $199 ($499 for rest of world). Full details in our Shipping Policy. - How long will my order take?
In-stock items dispatch within 1–3 business days. Transit after that is typically 2–4 days in the UK, 5–10 in Europe, 6–12 in the US & Canada, and 10–20 for the rest of the world. - Will I be charged customs or import duty?
Possibly, if you’re ordering from outside the UK. These charges are set by your own country and are your responsibility as the importer — see our Shipping Policy for how that works. - How do I track my order?
You’ll get a dispatch email with tracking as soon as your order leaves us. If tracking hasn’t updated after three business days, email us and we’ll open an enquiry with the carrier.
Returns & warranty
- What’s your return policy?
30 days from delivery, no reason required, provided the item is complete and in resalable condition. Email support@computahardware.shop with your order number to start a return — full process in our Returns & Refunds Policy. - What if my hardware arrives damaged or faulty?
Email us within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and the item and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund at our cost. - How long is the warranty?
Products carry the manufacturer’s warranty — commonly 12 months on mini PCs, docks and NAS units, though this varies by brand and is stated on the product page where it differs. Faults inside 30 days are replaced or refunded outright; faults after that but within warranty are repaired or replaced, working with the manufacturer where needed. - Do I need to back up my data before sending something back?
Yes. Storage in a returned or repaired unit may be wiped or replaced, and we can’t recover data from it.
Choosing the right hardware
- I want to run local AI models — what should I buy?
It comes down to unified memory. Beelink’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 machines (like the GTR9 Pro) share fast LPDDR5X between CPU and GPU and are a strong, comparatively affordable way to run mid-size local LLMs. The NVIDIA DGX Spark uses the GB10 Grace Blackwell superchip with up to 128GB of unified memory and NVIDIA’s CUDA/NIM software stack, aimed squarely at model development and larger models. Tell us the model sizes and framework you have in mind at support@computahardware.shop and we’ll tell you honestly which tier you actually need. - What’s the real difference between the DGX Spark and a Beelink AI Max+ machine?
Architecture and software target, not just price. DGX Spark is an Arm-based NVIDIA platform running DGX OS, built for CUDA workflows and NVIDIA’s AI stack. The Beelink AI Max+ machines are x86 (Windows or Linux) with AMD’s integrated Radeon graphics and ROCm support — more general-purpose, and also capable gaming and workstation machines outside of AI work. - Can I upgrade the RAM or storage later?
Depends on the machine. Most Beelink mini PCs have accessible SO-DIMM and M.2 slots for later upgrades. Machines with soldered unified memory — including the DGX Spark and the higher-end Ryzen AI Max+ configurations — have the memory fixed at time of purchase, since it’s part of the chip package. Storage is usually upgradeable via the M.2 slots even on those. Check the specific product page, or ask us before you order if it matters to you. - Do your NAS systems come with drives included?
Check the configuration you’re ordering — some Beelink NAS units ship diskless (bring your own drives) and some ship with SSDs included; both are listed as separate options on the product page where available.

- Do I need an account to order?
