Dell OptiPlex Gaming Desktop (Intel i7-8700, RX 550, 22in Monitor)
$471.11
Intel Core i7-8700 (8th Gen), AMD Radeon RX 550 4GB, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD + 2TB HDD
This refurbished Dell OptiPlex gaming bundle takes the guesswork out of building a budget gaming setup: a strong 8th-generation Intel Core i7, a dedicated AMD Radeon RX 550 graphics card, and a 22-inch monitor included, so everything you need to start gaming arrives in one box.
Key Features
- Intel Core i7-8700 Processor — A 6-core, 12-thread 8th-generation “Coffee Lake” CPU, a genuinely strong chip that still handles gaming and multitasking with ease.
- AMD Radeon RX 550 (4GB) — Dedicated Polaris-architecture graphics with 4GB of GDDR5 memory, an efficient, low-power card that delivers real gaming capability beyond integrated graphics.
- 16GB DDR4 Memory — Comfortable headroom for Windows 11, multitasking, and gaming.
- 256GB SSD + 2TB HDD — Fast SSD for your OS and go-to games, plus a huge 2TB hard drive for the rest of your library, downloads and media.
- 22-Inch Monitor Included — No need to source a display separately; this bundle is ready to plug in and use immediately.
- Dell OptiPlex Business-Grade Build — Reliable, proven components built for longevity.
- Windows 11 Pro — Genuine, pre-installed and ready to use.
- Ports & Connectivity — Dell OptiPlex business I/O including multiple USB 3.0 ports, DisplayPort and HDMI-compatible video outputs, and Gigabit Ethernet for a stable wired connection.
- Tested Before It Ships — Both the tower and the included monitor are functionally tested and inspected before approval for sale, so everything in the bundle is confirmed working on arrival.
A Complete Budget Gaming Setup, Ready Out of the Box
Being upfront about the graphics card: the RX 550 is an entry-level GPU, so this system is best suited to esports titles — CS2, Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League, Fortnite on lower settings — at smooth 1080p frame rates, along with older or lighter AAA titles at low-to-medium settings. It’s not designed to max out the newest AAA blockbusters at high settings, but as a low-power, efficient card it runs cool and quiet, and for casual or competitive esports gaming on a tight budget it’s a genuinely usable option, especially backed by the strong 6-core i7-8700.
What makes this listing particularly good value for first-time builders or anyone setting up a spare room or student gaming station is that it’s a complete bundle — CPU, GPU, storage and a 22-inch monitor all included, so there’s no need to budget separately for a display before you can start playing. The 2TB hard drive alongside the SSD also means you won’t run out of space for your growing game library any time soon. As a refurbished unit, expect light cosmetic wear consistent with prior use on both the tower and monitor, but every component is functionally tested before it ships. If you want more gaming headroom later, the full tower case leaves room to upgrade the graphics card down the line.
Who it’s for: this all-in-one bundle is aimed at first-time PC buyers, students moving into their own space, or anyone setting up a spare room who doesn’t already own a monitor. Rather than pricing a tower and a display separately and hoping they suit each other, everything here is matched and tested together, which takes the guesswork out of putting together a first gaming setup.
Buying a tower and a 22-inch monitor separately, even at budget prices, typically costs more than this bundle and leaves you responsible for making sure the two are compatible and the monitor’s inputs match your GPU’s outputs. Here that’s already sorted for you — one straightforward purchase, one delivery, and a complete setup ready to plug in, which is exactly the kind of hassle-free start we’d want as a first-time buyer ourselves.
Every machine and monitor we sell has already been unboxed, cleaned, inspected and functionally tested before it’s approved for listing, so you’re never gambling on an unknown, untested secondhand bundle. We’d rather be upfront about exactly what an entry-level graphics card can and can’t do than oversell a system and leave a first-time buyer disappointed once it’s set up.

Excellent value as a complete package for someone starting out. Set up the whole thing in twenty minutes, monitor and PC both worked first time with no dead pixels I could find.

PC itself is fine but the monitor stand felt a bit flimsy out of the box, tightened the screws and it’s stable now. GPU is definitely the limiting factor for gaming, more suited to older or lighter titles.

Great bundle deal getting the monitor included, saved me having to source one separately. Monitor picture quality is decent for the price, not amazing but perfectly usable for gaming and general use.

Good all-in-one starter setup. RX 550 handles lighter games fine at 1080p but don’t expect to run anything too demanding on max settings. 2TB HDD gives plenty of storage.

Happy with this bundle overall. The 256GB SSD is a bit small if you install a lot of games, thankfully the 2TB HDD is there as backup storage. Monitor colours are decent enough for casual use.
