Description

The Beelink Mate SE is an 80Gbps docking station purpose-built to match the SER8, SER9 Pro, SER9 MAX, and SER10 MAX mini PCs — adding massive dual-SSD storage expansion, an extra 2.5GbE network port, and a full complement of USB-A and SD card connectivity, all through a single next-generation USB-C connection. If your SER-series mini PC’s onboard storage is filling up, or you simply want a card reader and extra USB ports without a mess of separate dongles, the Mate SE was designed specifically to bolt onto it.

Key Features

  • 80Gbps USB-C Connection — The latest-generation USB-C standard delivers up to 80Gbps of throughput between the dock and your SER-series mini PC — roughly double what USB4/Thunderbolt 3 offers, keeping storage-heavy workflows genuinely fast rather than link-limited.
  • Dual M.2 PCIe 4.0 x2 SSD Slots, Up to 16TB — Two NVMe slots let you massively expand your SER-series mini PC’s storage without opening the chassis, ideal for media libraries, project archives, or a second fast drive.
  • 2.5GbE Ethernet Port — Adds a dedicated wired network connection, useful for data-intensive applications and latency-sensitive tasks that shouldn’t compete with WiFi.
  • SD 4.0 Card Reader + 2x USB-A 3.0 Ports — Covers camera memory cards and keyboard/mouse/peripheral connectivity (up to 15W combined) without needing a separate hub.
  • Matched Industrial Design — A slim 18mm aluminum-alloy profile (135 x 135mm footprint) engineered to sit flush against the SE-series mini PC form factor for a clean, unified desk setup.
  • Active Cooling — A built-in fan and heatsink with ventilation channels are dedicated to keeping the installed SSDs from thermal-throttling during large, sustained transfers.
  • Flexible Power Delivery — Peripherals under 15W draw power directly from the host mini PC; an additional USB-C PD input supports higher-demand SSDs and devices beyond that threshold.

Give Your SER-Series Mini PC a Storage Upgrade It Didn’t Ship With

The SER8, SER9, and SER10 MAX are already strong performers on their own, but their internal M.2 slots have a ceiling — and opening the chassis to add drives isn’t something everyone wants to do. The Mate SE sidesteps that entirely: connect one 80Gbps USB-C cable and you’ve added up to 16TB of additional NVMe storage across two independent slots, running at genuine PCIe 4.0 x2 speeds rather than the crawl you’d get from a cheap external USB enclosure.

That 80Gbps link speed matters more than it might seem. USB4 and Thunderbolt 3 top out around 40Gbps; the Mate SE’s 80Gbps interface effectively doubles the ceiling, which is the difference between a dock that bottlenecks a fast NVMe drive and one that lets it run close to its rated speed. For creators working with large video files, or anyone maintaining a growing media or project archive, that translates directly into faster transfers and less time waiting.

Beyond storage, the Mate SE rounds out the SER-series’ connectivity in ways the mini PCs themselves don’t cover: an SD 4.0 card reader for photographers and videographers pulling footage directly off camera cards, two additional USB-A 3.0 ports for peripherals, and a dedicated 2.5GbE port so wired networking doesn’t have to compete with whatever’s already built into your mini PC. Flexible power delivery means low-draw peripherals just work over the bus, while power-hungry SSDs can pull from an external PD adapter when needed. Two USB-C to USB-C cables rated for the full 80Gbps are included in the box; the in-box cable is fitted specifically for SER8 and SER9 Pro owners, so if you’re pairing the Mate SE with a SER9 MAX or SER10 MAX, double-check your cable is rated for the full link speed. Every order ships from our UK warehouse with 1–3 day processing, and No Import Fees apply for orders shipped to EU, UK, and US addresses.

5 reviews for Beelink Mate SE 80Gbps Dock for SER8、SER9 Pro/Max and SER10 Max

  1. Ewa K. –

Good build quality, aluminium feels solid. Only issue is the 15W limit on the USB-A ports means my older external HDD needed its own power – not really the dock’s fault, just worth knowing.

  2. Ryan L. –

Turned my SER10 MAX into a proper mini workstation – two extra NVMe drives plus the extra USB ports. Sits flush against the mini PC, looks like it was designed as one unit.

  3. Viktor S. –

Paired with my SER9 Pro, the 80Gbps link genuinely delivers – copying a 500GB project folder between the two NVMe drives in the dock took a fraction of the time my old USB enclosure did.

  4. Amara O. –

The SD card reader is handy for offloading camera footage straight into the dock’s storage. The fan is there but you really have to listen for it.

  5. Sam D. –

Speeds are as advertised when I benchmarked it, but I had to reseat one of the M.2 drives twice before it was detected reliably. Working fine now after a few weeks of use.
