Description

Already own a Beelink mini PC and want the OpenClaw AI agent experience without buying a whole new machine? The Pre-installed OpenClaw SSD Upgrade Kit is exactly that — a Crucial-grade PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive that arrives with Ubuntu, the OpenClaw environment, and (on supported hardware) local LLM tooling already configured. Swap it into your existing machine’s spare M.2 slot, boot from it, and you’re running an AI coding agent in minutes instead of spending an afternoon on OS installs, driver hunting, and dependency chains.

Key Features

  • Plug-and-Play OpenClaw Deployment — The drive ships pre-loaded with Ubuntu and a fully configured OpenClaw environment. Install it in a free M.2 slot, select it as your boot drive, and skip the manual setup entirely — no image flashing, no environment configuration, no troubleshooting a fresh install.
  • Crucial-Grade NAND, Up to 7,000MB/s Reads — Built on genuine Micron-manufactured NAND flash in a PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2280 form factor, this is server-grade component quality, not unbranded flash — read speeds up to 7,000MB/s keep model loading and agent responsiveness fast rather than storage-bound.
  • Full Local LLM Deployment on Compatible Hardware — On Beelink’s Ryzen AI-series machines — SER9 Pro (Ryzen AI 9 HX 370), SER10 MAX (Ryzen AI 9 HX 470), and GTR9 Pro (Ryzen AI Max+ 395) — the kit is configured for genuine local large-language-model deployment, taking advantage of each machine’s NPU and unified memory rather than relying on cloud inference.
  • Works as Cloud-Model Storage on Any Beelink Model — Even on machines without a dedicated NPU, the drive works as a plug-and-play OpenClaw boot drive configured for cloud-hosted model workflows, so it isn’t locked to only the three flagship AI machines.
  • Three Capacities to Match Your Model Library — Available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB, so you can size the drive to how many local models, checkpoints, and datasets you actually plan to keep on hand, rather than being stuck with a single fixed capacity.
  • Doubles as Standard High-Speed Storage — If you ever move away from OpenClaw or want to repurpose the drive, it works exactly like any other high-performance PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD — nothing about the AI pre-configuration locks you into using it only that way.
  • 3-Year Warranty — Backed by a 3-year warranty and a 30-day risk-free trial, so you can validate it works with your specific setup before committing.

Why Choose the OpenClaw SSD Upgrade Kit

The whole point of this kit is removing the single biggest friction point in trying local AI tooling: setup. Getting a coding agent like OpenClaw properly configured with the right runtime, drivers, and model weights is genuinely fiddly, and doing it wrong the first time (or the third time) is a real reason people give up before they get to actually use the thing. This kit sidesteps all of that — the environment is already built and tested, so what you’re buying is a working setup, not a set of instructions.

It’s the obvious choice if you already own a compatible Beelink machine and don’t want to pay for an entire new mini PC just to get OpenClaw running, or if you’d rather keep your existing boot drive untouched and simply add a dedicated AI drive you can swap in and out. Owners of the SER9 Pro, SER10 MAX, or GTR9 Pro in particular get the full local-LLM experience — genuine on-device inference through the NPU and available memory, not just a thin client to someone else’s API.

If you’re buying a mini PC for the first time, going with one of our OpenClaw-pre-installed machines directly is simpler. But if you’re upgrading an existing machine, adding capacity for a growing model library, or want a dedicated, swappable AI boot drive you can move between machines, this kit gets you there without the deployment headache. It ships from our CN warehouse, and ComputaHardware support is on hand if you have questions about compatibility with your specific model before you order.

4 reviews for Pre-installed OpenClaw SSD Upgrade Kit

  1. Salman Q.

Used this to upgrade an older mini PC that didn’t have OpenClaw pre-installed. Worked exactly as described, drive was recognised immediately and the agent was already set up. Nice touch being able to also just use it as a normal storage drive if needed.

  2. Erin F.

Good value way to add a pre-configured OpenClaw drive to an existing machine rather than buying a whole new PC. Installation was easy enough with a basic screwdriver. Only wish it came with slightly clearer setup instructions for first timers.

  3. Piotr Z.

Simple plug and play as advertised. Popped it into my mini PC’s spare M.2 slot and OpenClaw was ready to go without any extra config. Read speeds are genuinely close to the claimed figure based on a quick benchmark I ran.

  4. Fiona G.

Does the job but the packaging on mine was a bit flimsy for something this valuable, the anti-static bag had come loose in transit. Drive itself works fine though and speeds are as advertised.
